AAC Party: Erection of Party Structures Across the Country (Update)

AAC Party: Erection of Party Structures Across the Country (Update)

We are making appreciable progress in our bid to put up party offices across the country. I am elated that our members are responding positively for the call in this regard.

I also thank all that have donated offices and also assisted in equipping them. I salute Chief Ugo Ireoche, who has offered and actually provided funds to equip the party office in Umuahia. I commend Crespo Alemo, Chief Akin Olaosun for the Alimosho and Oyo Offices respectively. Others that have also answered this call, we thank you all.

Building a new political party is not an easy task. It is tortuous, hugely demanding. We need to exercise a lot of patience, and deal maturely with every body.

This journey will task us more in the days and weeks ahead and require that we put our heads straight to overcome all the stumbling blocks.

Comrades, we are doing everything possible to get the necessary tools you all require to undertake this task of ‘taking back our country Nigeria’. We crave for your understanding during this trying period!

As we make efforts to erect these offices I appeal further that intending donors should consider the States ‘ Capitals as it will help impact the project more. Symbolic and strategic importance for this, far outweigh every other consideration. This is not to diminish the value of LG Office erection.

We will soon make public additional progress in this regard in the days ahead.

Thank you all,

Leonard Nzenwa

TakeItBack Movement’s Pressure Successful as INEC Extends Voter Registration by Two Weeks

TakeItBack Movement’s Pressure Successful as INEC Extends Voter Registration by Two Weeks

It is with great pleasure that the Take it Back Movement can announce that, thanks to pressure placed on INEC Nigeria at their Abuja office on the 8th of August, the deadline for the Continuous Voters’ Registration, formerly 17th August, has now been lifted. Nigerians will now be allowed to continue to register to vote in the upcoming presidential elections until the 31st of August – the deadline being shifted by two more weeks.

If anyone was still in doubt as to the power held by youth prepared to fight for their future, this landmark turnaround by INEC should be enough to clear those doubts. The standpoint of the Take it Back Movement has never wavered: wherever the rights of Nigerians are being impeded or thwarted, we will fight, using the proper channels, to ensure liberation and justice.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, for giving us the opportunity to discuss this issue that has proven challenging to many Nigerians, and for yielding to a decision that cements Nigeria’s democracy.

The battle is only half won, however. We urge all Nigerians to avail themselves of this opportunity to make a difference on the 16th February, 2019. There is a real opportunity to create the Nigeria we dream of; a Nigeria that works for all Nigerians, not just the elite few. For the first time, there are real options in this race, and we appeal to every eligible citizen to take advantage of this new hope.

We’ve said it before and we will say it again: Nigeria MUST progress!

TakeItBack Movement’s Political Party Platform is African Action Congress

Today, our movement’s political platform was announced as one of the newly registered political parties by INEC.

On August 15th, the official unveiling of our party, the AAC, will hold at the Party Headquarters in ABUJA. We will also be announcing the members of our Coalition of Authentic Progressive Parties & Organizations (CAPPO) on that date.

With our own dedicated party platform, we are now able to match up a pace setting movement with a transformative political platform.

We call on progressives and youth everywhere to embrace the AAC. Our party is the authentic platform for political transformation in Nigeria.

Take it Back – Action!!!
